Navigating the seas of change is a natural theme for the 32nd annual Conference of the Canadian Health Libraries Association/Association des bibliothèques de la santé du Canada (CHLA/ABSC) coming to Halifax, Nova Scotia, May 26-May 30, 2008.

The Conference Planning Committee of the Maritimes Health Libraries Association/Association des bibliothèques de la santé des Maritimes (MHLA/ABSM) invites you experience the east coast - the sea, the sand - and, of course, the lobster! The Committee has worked hard to develop a program that is both professionally stimulating and socially enjoyable.

For the history buffs, there will be events in Pier 21 and at historic Halifax Citadel. For the shopper, walk out the front door of the Lord Nelson Hotel onto Spring Garden Road with shops and restaurants as far as the eye can see. And for the naturalist, plan to spend a few hours in the beautiful Public Gardens.

Come for the continuing education courses and see the latest from our exhibitors, then stay for the hospitality you expect from the east coast!

"Naviguer sur les mers du changement" est le thème choisi pour la 32è conférence annuelle de l'ABSC qui se tiendra du 26 au 30 mai 2008 à Halifax en Nouvelle-Écosse.

Le comité de planification de l'ABSM (Association des bibliothèques de la santé des Maritimes) vous invite à vivre une expérience à l'est du Canada : la mer, le sable et le homard, bien sûr ! Le comité a travaillé fort pour préparer un programme autant stimulant professionnellement que divertissant socialement.

Pour les mordus d'histoire, sachez que des activités sont prévues au site historique national Pier 21 et à la citadelle d'Halifax ; pour les amateurs de magasinage, dès que vous sortirez de l'Hôtel Lord Nelson vous pourrez déambuler sur la rue Spring Garden où se trouvent restaurants et magasins à perte de vue ; et pour les amateurs de plein air, vous pourrez vous promener dans le merveilleux parc Public Gardens.
