About the Committee

The conference planning committee for CHLA/ABSC 2010 Kingston is composed primarily of librarians and staff from the Bracken Health Sciences Library, Queen's University with a few exceptions. It's a relatively small group of volunteers but we are committed to making CHLA/ABSC 2010 one of the best conferences so far. In alphabetical order, the individuals involved are:

A special mention needs to be made of our mascot, Sir John A. MacDonald. Some of you may think that his name and even his appearance bears a striking resemblance to our country's first prime minister but I assure you, the resemblance is mere coincidence. First of all, his middle name is not Alexander but rather Actionfigure (we're not sure of the origin of that name), and second, he is substantially shorter. He is touring the CHLA chapters, will be writing blog entries of his experiences and is on facebook.
