Information for Exhibitors

The 34th Canadian Health Libraries Association Annual Conference will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Kingston, Ontario from June 7 – 11, 2010. Our conference provides you with a unique opportunity to meet and renew working relationships with your valuable clientele. Information about exhibiting is available:

The Exhibit Hall will be open Wednesday, June 9 (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) and Thursday, June 10 (10:00 am – 4:00 pm). Exhibitors will be able to set up their booths from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, June 8, 2010.

There will be six scheduled opportunities for conference attendees to visit the exhibit area:

  • Wednesday, June 9: 10:00-10:30 am; 12:00 noon-1:30 pm; 3:00-3:30 pm
  • Thursday, June 10: 10:00-10:30 am; 12:00 noon-2:00 pm; 3:30-4:00 pm

Sponsorship Information

We anticipate a registration of 200 librarians from academic, hospital, government, and corporate settings from across the country and parts of the United States. There will be opportunities to enable your organization to increase your corporate visibility and demonstrate your organization’s commitment and support of the Canadian health library and information community.

Advertising Information

Advertising opportunities are available in the final printed conference program and the list of conference participants. The official program will be distributed to all conference attendees in their registration package. The list of participants will list both delegates and exhibitors and will include contact information. This list will also be included in the registrations packages. Rates for advertising are:

Final program

  • $325.00 for a full-page ad
  • $275.00 for a half-page ad

Deadline for receipt: April 16, 2010

Participants’ List

  • $100.00 for a full-page ad
  • $75.00 for a half-page ad

Deadline for receipt: May 14, 2010

Format

Both an electronic and print copy of the advertisement is required. The electronic file should be in GIF, TIFF, JPG, BMP or PDF format and sent on a CD-ROM. The file may be zipped and email is acceptable.

Inserts in Registration Bags

Printed materials, bookmarks or brochures, may be sent for inclusion in the delegates’ registration bags. A minimum of 175 copies of your insert must be received by May 14, 2010. The cost is $200.00 for bookmarks or brochures. Companies who are exhibiting at the conference may take advantage of this service at no charge.
