Opening Reception

Location:  Glenbow Museum, Second Floor

Come and mingle at the CHLA/ABSC 2011 Conference Opening Reception to be held at the Glenbow Museum just a short stroll down Stephen Avenue Mall from the Hyatt.  We’ll party among the famous with exhibits of Karsh’s favourite photographic portraits entitled Yousuf Karsh: Regarding Heroes and an acclaimed video installation featuring soccer superstar Zidane. Enjoy music, hors d’oeuvres and a wine tasting courtesy of Christian Patrick and our friends at EBSCO.

We had been hoping to show off the University of Calgary’s new Taylor Family Digital Library on this occasion but, as sometimes happens with construction projects, there have been delays. You’ll have to come back and visit! We wish to thank Libraries and Cultural Resources and EBSCO for their generous contributions to this event.
