Malls
There are many, many malls in the Calgary area, we can't list them all. Below is only a taste of what we have to offer.
Chinook Centre
6455 Macleod Trail SW
Close to the downtown core, Chinook Centre has over 200 retail stores, including Abercrombie & Fitch, Sephora, Pottery Barn, and Williams & Sonoma. At the beginning of May, they welcomed Tiffany's (yes, THAT Tiffany's!) and Victoria's Secret as tenants.
CrossIron Mills
Balzac, Alberta
Visiting this mall is definitely a day trip. Located a few minutes north of Calgary, it's the first enclosed shopping mall to be built in Western Canada in 20 years. It has lots of shops and even has a movie theatre. Check out the outlet stores for Banana Republic, La Vie en Rose, Michael Kors, and Brooks Brothers. There's also a Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World with 150,000 sq ft of gear for life outdoors.
Market Mall
3625 Shaganappi Trail NW
Located in northwest Calgary near the new Alberta Children's Hospital and the University of Calgary, Market Mall was voted the top Shopping Centre in Calgary for the 2009 & 2010 Readers' Choice Awards.
Downtown
Downtown Calgary is hopping during weekdays when it largely caters to the lunchtime shoppers seeking a retail escape from their glass and steel office towers. A stroll along Stephen Avenue (a pedestrian mall) will bring you to numerous restaurants, boutiques.

CORE – TD Square & Holt Renfrew Building
TD Square, The CORE Building (formerly known as the Calgary Eaton Centre,) and The Holt Renfrew Building. Large downtown shopping centre complex connected by Calgary's unique +15 indoor walkway system. Hundreds of stores, including newly renovated Holt Renfrew, The Bay and more!
This complex was featured heavily in the movie Waydowntown.
Fashion Central
Newly opened Fashion Central is a retail complex situated at Stephen Avenue and 1st Street SW. Its focus is the display and sale of unique contemporary and cutting-edge fashion. Including stores like Murale, Betsey Johnson, Bibelot and deVille luxury coffee & pastries.
Art Central
Art Central is a visual arts complex at the corner of Centre Street and 7th Avenue in downtown Calgary that houses studios, art galleries, shops, as well as a restaurant and café. Check out Shisomiso, a boutique, gallery, and work space showcasing women's clothing by young Canadian designers.
Lammle's Western Wear & Tack
Lammle's, with several shops throughout town, is where Calgarians head to get "duded up" with hats, boots, and westernwear in preparation for Stampede, or for your average day at the office. Stop by the Stephen Avenue location and pick up a giant belt buckle or a pair of chaps to wear home!
17th Avenue & Environs
Discover a chic and unique shopping district - 17th Avenue provides a wide variety of shops and services which offer timeless styles and up-to-the-minute trends. For 25 years, this famous Avenue has been known as the “pulse of Calgary" and most recently the "Red Mile."
Gravity Pope Shoes

Reid's on 17th
Located at 710 17 Avenue SW, this stationary and gift shop will entice you with their fab window displays, fun toys and gifts, enormous selection of cards and stationary including fine pens.
Sentry Box
Billed as Canada's largest adventure gaming and science fiction and fantasy book store, Sentry Box has much to offer people to love to "game it up." Board games, cards, miniatures, and books collide in their 13,000 sq ft of fun. Located at 1835 - 10th Ave SW, not far from 17th avenue.
Steeling Home
A "modern general store" where you can find hooks and books, jewelry and homewares, rugs & toys, unique, vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces. All kinds of treasures and surprises to engage your senses!
Pudding Yarn
Just off 17th is this drool-worthy knitting store offering tools, patterns and a wide array of fine yarns - just remember to leave those needles in your checked baggage!
