They've got a pretty interesting collection, including a display featuring items – including a parka, nurses' bag and uniform -- from the Vera Roberts Archive. Roberts, a nurse, was a pioneer in providing health care to residents of the far north for more than 25 years.
I also took a peek in the Canoe Atlas of the Little North. Too cold to do any paddling for me, though!
I'm on my way to Calgary, to visit the Health Sciences Library at the University of Calgary. Should be in for a g-r-r-r-eat time.
