Meet Liz Bayley, conference chair

Liz Bayley

Like to know a little more about the fine folks planning your favourite conference? We thought so! So here is the first profile of our planning committee members. We’re starting at the top, with Liz Bayley, conference chair.

Name, rank and serial number:

Liz Bayley, Director, McMaster University Health Sciences Library

Tell us something surprising about yourself:

“I really enjoyed knitting a sweater for TC Hammer (the conference mascot.) And I sewed him a lab coat, with a fully turned collar (http://www.ehow.com/video_4438185_sewing-collar_-turning-stitching.html). My godmother taught me to knit when I was four – we’re British, we all knit – and my mother taught me how to sew. It was great fun to do that. ”

Why should I attend CHLA-ABSC 2012?

We have a really exciting program! And Hamilton is a hidden gem that more people need to discover.”
