Mandate

As an advisory group, the Committee provides specialized advice to CISTI on CISTI's plans, priorities, programs and services to the health and medical research communities. The committee:

• acts as a user group by reviewing CISTI activities vis-à-vis the various health communities and organizations in Canada;

meeting of the Committee and to respond to members as appropriate.

• At the end of the appointment, to submit appropriate documents to the CHLA/ABSC Archives as outlined in the Terms of reference for the management and retention of CHLA/ABSC documents.

Additional Responsibilities of the Vice President / President Elect 

1. Prior to each meeting of the Committee, solicit input from the Board of Directors and members of the Association through the Chapter Presidents and other appropriate channels. This is coordinated with the other representative.
2. Prepare an annual written report to the Board of Directors prior to the Pre-conference Board Meeting and for publication in BMC.
3. Present a report at the Annual Meeting.

Funding

Members of the Subcommittee are funded by NRC to attend meetings.
