In September 2009, the Northwestern Ontario Health Libraries Association (NOHLA) become an inactive chapter of CHLA/ABSC. After much discussion, the Chapter voted to donate the remaining chapter funds to the Thunder Bay Food Bank, and organized a final Holiday Lunch for NOHLA members.

NOHLA wishes to express that the Chapter offered opportunities to network and share information amongst its membership but have decided to meet informally as a group in the future, as well as broaden the group to include other libraries in the community.
