CISTI's consultation process

On April 7-8, NRC-CISTI held a Vision Workshop entitled “Creating a Strategic Vision for the New CISTI”. I was invited to participate, representing the health community, but unfortunately could not attend. Replacing me was Jim Henderson, Health Sciences Librarian from McGill. Participants included a variety of CISTI staff and Directors, including the National Science Library (NSL) Transformation Core Team. Internal Clients included representation from NRC, Clusters, and selected NRC Programs.

Someone on my staff recommended that I should look at your website and review the material you had on the “The Press”.

All of us appreciate your concern for what is happening to us and to the national science library side of CISTI as a result of the recent federal government’s Strategic Review.
