A Post-Doctoral Fellow from McMaster University, being supervised by Maureen Dobbins, is investigating public health professionals’ perceptions of their information-seeking behaviours and problem solving abilities, and perceptions of how evidence is used in the practice environment. The purpose of this study is to advance the understanding of public health professionals’ information needs and to identify more effective knowledge translation strategies for evidence-informed practice. What we did
The CHLA/ABSC Board of Directors has reviewed and updated the Association’s Letters Patent (our original document of incorporation) and By-Laws.
Why we did this
CHLA/ABSC is legally required to update its Letters Patent and By-Laws to conform to the new Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (S.C. 2009, c. 23) (NFP Act) which modernized and simplified the by-laws of not-for-profit organizations.
