Before you register: Review the conference schedule, the continuing education schedule, and the registration fees as listed below.  Renew your CHLA/ABSC 2017 membership to take advantage of member discounts.

CHLA/ABSC 2017 Members: Please be sure to use the Member registration option to access your discounted rates.

MLA 2017 Members: MLA members get the CHLA/ABSC member rate. If you are an MLA member, please contact Marta Michas (Marta.Michas@ualberta.ca) or Jody Nelson (Jody.Nelson@macewan.ca). Please provide proof of current MLA membership and we will send you instructions for registering.

Institutional Membership Registration: Each Institutional Membership entitles two members from that institution to register at Member Rates.  If you will be registering under an Institutional Membership, please contact Linda Slater (linda.slater@ualberta.ca) and provide her with your name, institution, email address and work phone number. Your contact information will be associated with your institution's membership, and you will then be emailed a login and password that you can use to register.

Cancellations and refunds: Registration fees for CHLA/ABSC sponsored events, including Continuing Education, are refunded (minus a $25 processing fee) if written notice is received at least 28 days prior to the event. Cancellations requested in writing for medical reasons are accepted at any time and refunded at 50%. Those failing to supply written notice or those who are "no shows" at the event will not receive a refund.

Share your conference experience on Twitter or Instagram, get new followers, and connect with #canmedlibs! As a Social Media Ambassador, you commit to posting to Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #chlaabsc17:

  • A minimum of once per week, from March 1 (or your subsequent registration date) to May 15, 2017, and
  • A minimum of once per day during the conference, May 16 to May 19, 2017
