A Retired Member must have been a Regular Member in good standing for at least ten years preceding the application for Retired status. To qualify for this status, applicants must no longer be earning a salary from employment or consulting. The initial membership application for Retired status must include the name of a current CHLA member who can verify that the applicant has retired. In the year of membership, a retired member shall receive:
- online access to the CHLA/ABSC Directory;
- professional development grants to attend continuing education events;
- one call for nominations/nominations form;
- one ballot for the election of Board members;
- one vote at the Annual General Meeting;
- the right to attend CHLA/ABSC activities at the member rate.
Membership year runs from January to December
All fees are expressed and payable in Canadian Dollars
