Introductory Membership

New members can join at any time of the year for 25% off.  You qualify as a new member if you have never previously joined CHLA/ABSC OR if you have not joined in the last 5 years.   A November or December membership is good for the following year.

Prorated Membership

If you have been away or missed the regular renewal period, you can keep your membership active (or join) between July - October for 1/2 price. 1/2 price DOES NOT apply to November/December renewals.

Renew in November or December for regular member price, and get the remainder of that calendar year free. Your membership will remain effective for the next year beginning in January. A November or December membership is good for the following year.

In the year of membership, a regular member shall receive:

• online access to the CHLA/ABSC Directory;
• professional development grants to attend continuing education events;
• one call for nominations/nominations form;
• one ballot for the election of Board members;
• one vote at the Annual General Meeting;
• the right to attend CHLA/ABSC activities at the member rate.
