National Network of Libraries for Health Update

The National Network of Libraries for Health (NNHL) proposal has been taken up by Health Canada, specifically by John Riddle, Chief Information Officer, Health Canada Information Management Services Directorate. The proposal was sent to all CHLA/ABSC Chapter presidents, and a revised version is posted at /nnlhrev.html. A meeting of CHLA/ABSC's Network Steering Group was held on Tuesday, November 28, in Ottawa.

A project director, Helene Valin, has been supplied by Health Canada to help prepare the submission, due in the Fall of 2001. A draft of the submission will be distributed before the 2001 conference, and will be presented for input and feedback at the Annual conference in Quebec City in May. Members will be updated regularly.
