Predicting the future has been a big one for me. I just attended an academic library event, on planning for ten or fifteen years from now. I do believe that if I am not positioned where my patrons are going, then they will see library services as less relevant, and we will in fact become irrelevant. 

However, in the hospital and clinic environment, "where things are going" is not necessarily identical with the academic environment. I wonder if there needs to be a separate discussion of the information future, behind the medical firewalls.
