CHLA/ABSC By-Election : Call for Nominations – Treasurer (2011 – 2013)

Teresa Lee has accepted a new position at the University of British Columbia and as a result is unable to continue her term as CHLA/ABSC Treasurer. In the interim, Shannon Long has agreed to stay on as the interim-Treasurer until a new Treasurer is appointed. We wish Teresa well in her new position.

Nominations are invited for one (1) position on the Board, Treasurer, for the period of 2011 to 2013.

The composition of the 2011 - 2012 Board of Directors includes:
President: Miriam Ticoll (Toronto)
Vice-President/President Elect: Jeff Mason (Regina)
Past President: Orvie Dingwall (Winnipeg)
Directors:
Public Relations - Laurie Blanchard (Winnipeg)
Secretary - Shauna-Lee Konrad (London, ON)
CE Coordinator - Lindsay Glynn (St. John’s)

Procedures:
Nominees must be members in good standing of CHLA/ABSC. All nominations must be signed by two (2) members also in good standing of CHLA/ABSC.

Nominations must be submitted in writing to the Nominations Committee, and shall include the nominee’s written consent to stand for election. The candidate must also submit a brief biography, as well as a personal statement of aims, for the Association. Nominations and consent forms are enclosed.

Members of the Board are eligible for re-election provided that no member serves more than two (2) consecutive terms.

All nominations must be submitted to the Chair of the Nominations Committee no later than July 22, 2011.
