In the year of membership, an unemployed member shall receive:

• online access to the CHLA/ABSC Directory;
• eligibility to apply for professional development grants to attend continuing education events;
• one call for nominations/nominations form;
• one ballot for the election of Board members;
• one vote at the Annual General Meeting;
• the right to attend CHLA/ABSC activities at the member rate.
