The medical library of the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal is proudly displaying its new and available website!

Thanks to teamwork, our vibrant website is redesigned using SubjectPlus open source, greatly improving and facilitating information access to users.

Currently, our website is available only in French but most of the content is in English.


New WWDHLN President

Hi everyone,

Effective June 16, 2010, Caroline Yeomans of KidsAbility is the President of the Wellington Waterloo Dufferin Health Library Network.

Northwestern Ontario Health Libraries Association

The Northwestern Ontario Health Libraries Association (NOHLA) has recently become an inactive chapter of CHLA/ABSC.  After much discussion, the Chapter voted to donate the remaining funds to the Thunder Bay Food Bank and organized a final Holiday Lunch for NOHLA members.

Supporting Clinical Care: An Institute in Evidence-Based Practice for Medical Librarians

When: Monday, August 3rd, 5:00pm - Thursday, August 6th, noon

Where: Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire (an easy two-hour drive from Boston and many other New England locations; easy access from airports throughout New England).


OVHLA has a new CE Coordinator!

I am pleased to announce that Lorna Adcock has accepted the position of CE Coordinator for the Ottawa Valley Health Libraries Association. Lorna is the Director of Information Services for the Canadian Medical Association.

Thanks goes out to our former CE cooridnator, Michelle Fiander, who has left the association to pursue other interests last fall.


HLABC Forum v.31 n.1 2008

HLABC has just posted the new issue of the HLABC Forum (v.31 n.1 2008) to the HLABC website, courtesy of their webmaster Robyn.

The current issue's theme is "Journal Management" and contributors have provided a variety of interesting perspectives on this topic. They also have news, interviews and articles on technology.
