Slate of Candidates for 2022 & Election for:
The CHLA/ABSC Nominations and Elections Committee is pleased to report that we have received nominations for all three of our open positions.
One nomination was received for the position of Vice President/President Elect (3 years). As only one nomination was received, Lance Fox, in an uncontested vote, is elected by acclamation.
Two nominations were received for the position of Secretary (2 years).
Biographies and statements of objectives for each of the candidates can be found by clicking on their names.
In accordance with the bylaws, all voting members of the Canadian Health Libraries Association have one vote for the position of Secretary.
All votes will be submitted electronically through the CHLA / ABSC website’s secure voting portal which is tied to your profile. The election will be scrutinized by Perry Ruehlen, Executive Director and overseen by the nomination committee.
Please note that voting will be open until 5:00 pm EST on May 5th, 2022.
There will be no other opportunity to submit your vote, and once submitted cannot be changed. Results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting prior to the 2022 Hybrid Conference.
